I would love to share your home cooking for dogs success story. Did you have a sick pet that was brought back to health with some lovin’ spoonfuls? Were you frightened by massive pet food recalls? Help me inspire others to stop the processed madness and send me your story!
TEDDY
Jen introduced me to home cooking for dogs when our whippet Teddy was just a puppy and he was already saying ‘no thank you’ to his store bought food, which sometimes created tummy troubles. We tried many brands, wet and dry, only to have him leave it languishing in his bowl. We were worried that our lean hound was not getting enough nutrition for his growing body, so we tried a few simple and wholesome recipes that Jen suggested. Success!

Now that he’s a full-grown, very active dog, we feel great knowing that he’s getting the balanced nutrition he needs while he enjoys meals that make him lick his bowl clean. Just as with our own diets, we like knowing what in his food too. We have several go-to recipes that are both inexpensive to shop for and easy to prepare, but we’ve also had a lot of fun experimenting with variations and new dishes that keep our finicky eater interested. His coat is soft and shiny, his breath is sweet (well, as sweet as dog breath can be) and his eyes are bright. He’s known at the local dog park as the ‘personal trainer’ for the contagious sprints he leads.
We’re grateful to have converted to home cooking so early in his life and we look forward to cooking for him for many years to come.
